TRAINING RESOURCES - FORCE OPTIONS

The Regional Public Safety Training Center is available for training 24-hours a day.

Use of Force Simulation - AIS PRISim Simulator

The Center capitalizes on advances in technology to provide realistic and cost efficient training, and has acquired a portable Force Option Simulator to enhance transferable and perishable judgment and decision-making skills during realistic use of force scenarios. The AIS PRISim simulator was selected because of the full range and realistic functions of lethal and less lethal weapons for use in over 300 use of force scenarios. Another important feature of the system is the integrated shoot-back component, which fires hard nylon projectiles back at the officer in order to condition an immediate response to seek available cover.

Props Scheduling Information

    • Partnering Agency Personnel must schedule Training Props through your individual agency single point of contact.  See Contact List.
