The Regional Public Safety Training Center is available for training 24-hours a day.

Driving Simulation - GE Patrol Sim III - Decision Making Simulation

A dedicated room houses a GE Patrol Sim III Driving Simulator. This state-of-the-art addition provides public safety personnel with the latest technology for use in driver training. Crash analysis studies indicate that simulation training can produce a significant reduction in the number of crashes per year as well as a corresponding reduction in crash related costs. Driving simulators also produce transferable skills which, allows the student to “experience the consequences” of decisions made during realistic emergency driving scenarios without the expense and inherent risk of behind-the-wheel collision avoidance training.
