The most recent addition to the Regional Public Safety Training Center is the expansion of the collapsed structure prop better known as the “Rubble Pile”. This prop consists of a maze of concrete pipes, boxes and spaces buried under large quantities of construction material and debris to simulate a building, bridge, or other structure destroyed by natural or man-made causes. Once complete, this training prop will be one of only several of its kind in the country designed for this type of search & rescue operations.
